Daly Grove is one of the many neighbourhoods located in the south of Edmonton, in the Mill Woods Area. It is also in the Southwood community contained in Mill Woods. The neighbourhood gets its name from Thomas Daly who developed high quality strains of oats and wheat. The community is represented by the Southwood Community League and was established in 1990. It maintains a hall and outdoor rink. The league is located at 18 Avenue and 37 Street. The location of the neighbourhood has good access to Mill Woods Town Centre shopping centre located nearby. Bisset is bounded by Mill Woods Road on the west, the north is bounded by 23 Avenue, 34 Street is bounded to the east, and lastly 16A Avenue on the south.

The 2001 federal census stated the residential development in Daly Grove began back in the 1970s and two out of five (41.2%) of the homes in the community were constructed in this decade. Around two out of five (40%) were built in the decade proceeding. Most of the rest of the housing units were built in the early 1990s.

The 2005 municipal census stated that the single-family home made up the majority (66%) of the residences in the community. Townhouse homes account for around one in four (24%) of all homes. Lastly, the remaining 11% of the residential homes are split between duplexes (6%) and rented apartments (5%). Three out of four (75%) residences are occupied by their owners and the remaining units are rented.


There is one school in Daly Grove called Daly Grove Elementary School and is operated by the Edmonton Public School System.


Daly Grove had a recorded population of 3,551 living in 1,253 dwellings, a 1.6% drop from its measured population of 3,608. Its land area of 0.95 km2 (0.37 miles2), having a population density of 3,737.9 people/km2 in 2012.
